Tham Pang Beach is a 5 minute drive by motorbike, which can be hired for 200 baht per day, or a 20 minute walk, and offers seclusion and a good bar and food service (Beer Chang 50 baht large bottle) and authentic Thai dishes from 30 baht. As an alternative to this island beach, by prior arrangement with Jim or Kheak, a fishing boat canbe hired for the day (minimum 4 people at 500 baht per person) to go fisjhing and visit the Island of Koh Kang Kao where your catch can be cooked as part of a picnic lunch. This price includes the services of the Captain, soft drinks, ice and fruit.
